From the library's newsletter: Meet Kansas Author Jillian Forsberg at ACPL

Join us on Tuesday, September 16, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. for a special evening with Kansas author Jillian Forsberg as she signs books and shares insights into her writing journey.

Jillian is the author of The Rhino Keeper (2025 Kansas Notable Book), a novel inspired by the remarkable true story of a rhinoceros who captivated 18th-century Europe and the devoted keeper who cared for her. Her highly anticipated second novel, The Porcelain Menagerie, will be released this October and explores secrets, survival, and Saxon porcelain.

With a background in public history and communication, Jillian’s work is rooted in her research of little-known historical events. She is also a contributor to Writer Unboxed and leads the Manuscript Matchup beta reader program through History Through Fiction.
